Kimball International Corporate Headquarters

Jasper, Indiana is proud to be the home of Kimball International, a diversified Fortune 500 manufacturing company. Part of Kimball International’s growth included expansion of their corporate headquarters. Using an integrated design, Jasper Lumber combined beauty with state of the art products and construction techniques to create one of the community’s signature buildings.

Jasper Engines & Transmissions

Others might know them by their #77 NASCAR racing team but we know them as our neighbor. Through decades of growth, Jasper Engines success is always evident. With their growth Jasper Lumber was there to help and construction of a 165,000 square foot manufacturing, sales and administration addition. Working together we were able to overcome special challenges  that include unique terrain and the need for a multi-story manufacturing workspace.

Arnold F. Habig Community Center

When the City of Jasper received the estate of Kimball International founder Arnold Habig as a gift, they turned to Jasper Lumber Company to develop the property into a community center. JLC updated the 7,000-square foot residence to house the offices of the Jasper Park and Recreation Department and Dubois County Older American’s Center. A 10,000-square foot addition was constructed with a 200-person public community room for banquets, a computer center and exercise area for senior citizens. Parking and handicapped accessibility were also created with respect paid to the acres of manicured grounds and gardens.

German American Bank

In 2002, Jasper Lumber Company proudly performed a complete renovation of German American’s main office building housing German American Bancorp, German American Bank and German American Financial Advisors.

This extensive project was completed while still enabling the company to conduct normal daily business. The main level interior design included integration of a customer-friendly environment with an emphasis on creating a financial superstore.

The second floor Executive Suite includes the use of glass windows, allowing for an open atmosphere among the offices while the Boardroom and Training Room incorporate high-end technology to permit efficient operation between the holding company and affiliated institutions.

The entire project was accented by custom-designed wood elements created, built and installed by the Jasper Lumber Company Millwork Division.

Jasper Lumber also employed EIFS technology to update the entire exterior of the structure.

St. Charles Surgical Pavilion & Heath Pointe

The innovative designs of both structures required substantial innovation. From the original building, housing a fitness and rehabilitation center, our efforts were to create an open and pleasant environment unlike any other, using laminated support beams and lots of glass. Jasper Lumber's design of the pool, locker rooms and saunas also helped create an atmosphere of healing and tranquility.

The open concept carried through construction of St. Charles Surgical Pavilion as an addition to the Health Pointe structure. As a freestanding surgery center, this medical setting required an extraordinary amount of compulsory installation of utility and communication systems, while sustaining an atmosphere of healing and tranquility. The project includes a one-of-a-kind fabric-covered entryway.

Tierra International, LLC

Another member of Southern Indiana's thriving business community, Tierra International LLC, is proud of the new headquarters for their global catalog company. Utilizing the Wide Bay Building System from CECO, we were able to enhance the firm's distribution methods with construction of a multi-dock warehouse. To speed up the project timeline, we used laser screeding of concrete throughout the 140,000 square foot complex. A two-story administration wing provides a wonderful entry into the Jasper business community.
