Renovation and Addition
When the City of Jasper received the estate of Kimball International founder Arnold Habig as a gift, they turned to Jasper Lumber Company to develop the property into a community center. Jasper Lumber Co. updated the 7,000-square foot residence to house the offices of the Jasper Park and Recreation Department and Dubois County Older American’s Center. A 10,000-square foot addition was constructed with a 200-person public community room for banquets, a computer center, and exercise area for senior citizens. Parking and handicapped accessibility were also created with respect paid to the acres of manicured grounds and gardens. |
